The Magic of Setting Boundaries

DESCRIPTION: Leading an authentic life requires us to set boundaries that connect us with our values.  This workshop will explore the importance of setting boundaries, types of boundaries, a framework for setting boundaries, creating clarity when communicating boundaries, and actions we can take when our boundaries are crossed.

The Gift of Self-Compassion

DESCRIPTION: Have you even been in a situation where you did not perform well?  What were your thoughts?  This workshop dives into the benefits of practicing self-compassion.  Research shows demonstrating self-compassion elevates performance, decreases stress, and improves our well-being.  We’ll discuss the role of the inner critic, challenging the inner critic, shifting narratives and perspective as well as develop the skills needed to create a customized approach to self-compassion.

Mindfulness-An Intentional Practice

DESCRIPTION: It is not uncommon to go through life on automatic pilot, living in the past or future, not connected to the present moment.  This workshop will explore the foundations of mindfulness, the freedom of acceptance and letting go, the wisdom of the three-point check, the advantages of slowing down, and sample various mindfulness practices.

Chris Wales has over 25 years of leadership experience and is a Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, holds a certificate in the Psychology of Leadership through Cornell University, an MBA from UW-Oshkosh, an MS in Organizational Change Leadership through UW-Platteville and the founder of River Crossing Coaching, an international professional and personal development coaching firm. She has partnered with hundreds of leaders (every individual is a leader), aligning their insights and behaviors to achieve self-directed goals.  Everyone can create meaningful change in their lives when they have the desires, tools, plans, actions, and support to create a clear path forward!
